What stays on your computer

Your files, your projects, your conversations with the AI, and the logins or keys for your AI accounts (Claude, ChatGPT/Codex, Gemini) are kept on your own computer. The AI providers you connect receive what you send them under their own terms.

Genie also keeps a map of each project it works on (Atlas) — the project's stack, its checks and rules learned from past mistakes. It is stored on your computer, outside the project. If you choose to sync it between your computers, it travels through a private git repository that you own.

What passes through Genie's servers

To reach your computer from your phone, messages travel through Genie's relay. The relay passes them on and does not store their content. If a reply finishes while your phone is away, the relay keeps only the time it happened, so your phone can ask your computer to send it again.

What Genie's servers keep

If you join the early-access list we keep your email and which computer you use, only to send your invite and launch news. Ask us to remove it at any time.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and the email you paid with — never your card details.

Your choices

You can unpair any phone or computer from the app, and ask us to delete your account and everything above.
